Heartsaver® First Aid

  

A classroom, video-based, instructor-led course that teaches students critical skills to respond to and manage an emergency in the first few minutes until emergency medical services (EMS) arrives. Students learn skills such as how to treat bleeding, sprains, broken bones, shock and other first aid emergencies.

This course is for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card in first aid to meet job, regulatory or other requirements.

Heartsaver® CPR AED

A classroom, video-based, instructor-led course that teaches adult CPR and AED use, as well as how to relieve choking on an adult. This course teaches skills with AHA’s research-proven Practice-While-Watching (PWW) technique, which allows instructors to observe the students, provide feedback and guide the students’ learning of skills.

This course is for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card in CPR and AED use to meet job, regulatory or other requirements.

Heartsaver® First Aid CPR AED

  

A classroom, video-based, instructor-led course that teaches students critical skills needed to respond to and manage a first aid, choking or sudden cardiac arrest emergency in the first few minutes until emergency medical services (EMS) arrives.

Students learn skills such as how to treat bleeding, sprains, broken bones, shock and other first aid emergencies. This course also teaches adult CPR and AED use.

Heartsaver Bloodborne Pathogens

  

A classroom course that teaches employees how to protect themselves and others from being exposed to blood or blood-containing materials.

This course is designed to meet Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements for bloodborne pathogens training when paired with site-specific instruction.


This course is designed for anyone with a reasonable chance of coming into contact with bloodborne pathogens such as:

§ Correctional Officers

§ Childcare workers

§ Security guards

§ Maintenance workers

§ School personnel

§ Hotel housekeepers

§ Health and fitness club staff

§ Tattoo artists

Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers(BLS)

  

Course is designed for:

§ Physicians and Nurses

§ Hospital Personnel ( x-ray, respiratory, etc)


BLS for Healthcare Providers is designed to provide a wide variety of healthcare professionals the ability to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR, use an AED, and relieve choking in a safe, timely and effective manner.

This course is for healthcare professionals who need to know how to perform CPR, as well as other lifesaving skills, in a wide variety of in-hospital and out-of-hospital settings.

Advanced Cardiac Life Support

  

An advanced, instructor-led classroom course that highlights the importance of team dynamics and communication, systems of care and immediate post-cardiac-arrest care. It also covers airway management and related pharmacology. In this course, skills are taught in large, group sessions and small, group learning and testing stations where case-based scenarios are presented.

ACLS is designed for healthcare professionals who either direct or participate in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest and other cardiovascular emergencies. This includes personnel in emergency response, emergency medicine, intensive care and critical care units.

Course Format:

Initial Provider Course requires approximately 10-12 hours to complete, including skills practice and skills testing. Renewal Course requires approximately 5-6 hours, including skills practice and skills testing.

*course time based on 1 instructor: 6 student: 2 manikins
Classroom-based (instructor and video, with skills conducted throughout)

Initial Course ( two day )  – $200.00 per student

Renewal Course ( one day )- $125.00 per student
Students must present current ACLS card at the time of class.

This class requires a minimum of 4 students.
